Appleton™ GUBB and GUBBM Cast Junction Boxes

Appleton™ explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof GUBB and GUBBM cast junction boxes are designed for use where the number and size of conductors require a junction box with additional space. They are ideal for use in indoor and outdoor classified locations. These corrosion-resistant junction boxes provide access for maintenance. They can be used as pull boxes for pulling and splicing of wires and as an enclosure for electrical devices.

  • GUBB Series junction boxes are available in a wide selection of sizes and locations for drilled and tapped conduit openings. They are suitable for use as an enclosure for relays, instrument and other control apparatus in classified locations
  • GUBBM Series comes complete with a round, explosionproof glass window cover which permits direct reading of an enclosed instrument.

GUBB bodies: copperfree (4/10 of 1% max.) aluminum or malleable iron. GUBB covers: copperfree (4/10 of 1% max.) aluminum. GUBBM bodies and covers (with glass insert): copperfree (4/10 of 1% max.) aluminum. Neoprene O-ring
Standard Finishes
Malleable iron bodies have a triple-coat finish (1) zinc electroplate, (2) chromate, and (3) epoxy powder coat. Aluminum bodies and covers have an epoxy powder coat
Options
