Appleton™ explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, XP Series circuit breaker panelboards are used to provide protection and control of electrical apparatus and circuits in indoor and outdoor hazardous locations. These non-factory sealed panelboards are designed to centrally control switching systems for multiple branch circuits that are used for lighting, heat trace, small motors and other electrical equipment. XP Series panelboards are certified for use in Class I areas where flammable gases or vapors are present either continuously, intermittently or under abnormal circumstance.
