EasyHeat™ RG Cable Connection Kits and Accessories

EasyHeat™ RG self-regulating heating cables must be installed with appropriate connection kits. Our specially designed EasyHeat™ kits provide the right hardware for helping to install RG self-regulating heating cables. Each connection kit contains detailed instructions for connecting the cable to power supplies and/or other heating cables, providing confidence and ease in installation. They include the DSH downspout hanger, ALT1 aluminum heat transfer tape, SRSRG/ SRPCRG splice/power connection kits, SRM-2 roof and gutter in-line splice kit, SRES power/end seal connection kit, and ZHC roof clips and spacers.

  • The DSH downspout hanger supports heating cable where it enters and exits a downspout. Each kit contains two hangers
  • The SRPCRG power connection kits provide heat shrink tubing based power connection for one cable within customer supplied junction box (provides heat shrinkable end seal for watertight entry connection).
  • SRM-2 power-end and end-seal connection kit allows on-site cut cables to be terminated without the use of a heat gun. They are for indoor use to connect power to the cable inside a customer supplied junction box and to terminate the other end of the cable. Each kit contains 2 power-connection boots, 2 end-seal boots and 1 tube of adhesive.
  • The SRES end seal kit is used to create a moisture proof end seal of the heating cable circuit. Each kit contains 5 end seals
  • SRSRG roof and gutter in-line splice kit provides materials necessary to perform a splice of two roof and gutter heating cables. Each kit contains one splice
  • ZH-C roof clips and spacers attach the heating cable to the roof. They can also be used to maintain cable spacing in gutters and downspouts. Each kit has components for 50 roof clips or 25 cable spacers
  • All have a one year limited warranty
