Appleton™ increased safety ATX™ JBEA and ECEA Series aluminum enclosures and junction boxes provide for connection of low voltage instrumentation and equipment. They are available in a variety of sizes, with drilling options and accessories to meet a wide range of needs, and are suitable for use in wet or corrosive atmospheres, as well as classified hazardous locations exposed to flammable gases, vapors or dusts.

Features

  • Increased safety. Ideal for indoor and outdoor use in wet or corrosive atmospheres
  • Designed for Zones 1 or 2 areas, where flammable gases or vapors are present either continuously, often or accidentally such as petroleum and chemical facilities, refineries and other industrial process facilities
  • Designed for use in Zones 21 or 22 areas where flammables dusts (conductive and non conductive) are present either continuously, often or accidentally such as food processing facilities, dairy facilities, brewing facilities, silos and other facilities
  • JBEA Series terminal junction boxes are designed for low voltage electrical and instrumentation connections in hazardous areas
  • ECEA Series enclosures are for distribution and control applications. They can be customized at our workshop to house a large range of components; i.e. control units, switches, breakers, transformers, meters, etc.
  • Refer to catalog pages to define permitted number of cable entries, number of terminal blocks, and maximum current of terminals for selected junction boxes
  • Mounting rails are supplied
